Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho)

The whole image is covered with gold leaf. Undoubtedly, this Buddha is a must-do for any first-time visitor to Thailand. The temple is the original public education center and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. For that value, the temple has been list as UNESCO historical site. Elephant Nature Park
Elephant Nature Park is an elephant sanctuary and rescue center located in the northern Thailand. Wat Chedi Luang
Located right in the center of Chiang Mai Old Town, Wat Chedi Luand was built during the reign of King Saen Muang Ma. In the period of great prosperity, the temple was 60 meters wide and 80 meters high and once housed the Thailand's most sacred Emerald Buddha. In an earthquake in 1545, the temple was reduced to half its height, but it was still an impressive building of the Chiang Mai skyline.
The decorations are very good in the temple. It’s quite a nice place to see the ancient decoration and old remains in the walls. Like some other buildings, some buildings here are open to men only. It’s believed that in Thailand that women are not pure during periods. Another interesting thing is every day tourists are invited to talk to monks and ask them anything about Buddhism.
