Decades ago, a group of tourists arranged a party along Phangan beach in a full moon night. Since then, the island maintained the custom of the open-air beach party. People from all over the world come to take part in the celebrations.

There are now 10,000 to 30,000 people attending the party every month.  As the night approaches, the beach erupted into a dance floor. Everyone will take their pleasure here – dancing, alcohol, neon lights, drums and bass. No one will be disappointed. As the night progressed, colorful impromptu fireworks, fire players and DJs entertained the crowd and the party atmosphere reaches a climax.

The Full Moon party in Phangan is held once a month throughout the year. The highlight of its attractions are Thai bucket alcohol, rope skipping, neon body painting, music and grand dancing party. The fire show in the Full Moon Party is impressive! fire rope skipping is always the most popular event as well. Four people who knew how to do the trick controlled the rope. According to the attenders, they wing either slower or faster. The water gun is always close in the event of an accident. The fire tradition, which takes place every month at the Haad Rin Beach Bar, lasts an hour or so at around 9 p.m..You may not dare to try or be surprise at!

Thai bucket drinking

The Full Moon Party is a big nightclub with lots of alcohol. It's easy to be drunk because the drink comes from the bucket! It’s literally a bucket! It's actually a bucket of cocktail and three or four straws. Totally it will cost you about 200 baht (around $6).
